放線菌による鼻石症の1例

A Case of Rhinoliths due to Actinomyces

I．はじめに

　鼻石は耳鼻咽喉科領域の結石として1602年Marthia de Grandiによって初めて報告^1）された。本邦では1896年（明治29年）西^2）の報告以来，報告例は百数十例を数える。

　今回病理組織検査の結果，放線菌による鼻石症の1例を経験したので，その概要を記載するとともに，文献的検討も行った。

A 51-year-old female presented with a complaint of mucopurulent nasal discharge and nasal obstruction. Rhinoscopic examinations showed a dark-brown mass in her right nasal cavity. The mass was resected by endonasal surgery,and an actinomycotic body was found following the histopathological examination. Culture of the nasal discharge were negative for bacteria. Hence,the histopathological examination was useful for making this diagnosis.
