　後天性免疫不全症候群の患者に発症した，肉芽腫性前部ぶどう膜炎の一症例について報告した。症例は9歳の男児で，血液製剤の輸注により7歳時にヒト免疫不全ウイルスの感染が判明し，以来慢性気管支炎やカンジダ症に対して治療が行われてきた。眼科初診時，右眼には多数の虹彩結節を伴った虹彩毛様体炎がみられ，その後3年間にわたって再発と寛解を繰り返した。左眼にも同様の前部ぶどう膜炎が発症したが，両眼とも全経過を通じて眼底などには異常を認めなかった。前部ぶどう膜炎の発症，再燃時は常に極度の免疫抑制状態にあり、本症の発症との因果関係が推察された。

A case of granulomatous anterior uveitis accompanied with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is reported. The patient is 9-year-old male with history of chronic bronchitis and candidasis caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection after blood transplantation at the age of 7. At the initial ophthalmic examination, the right eye showed iridocyclitis with multiple iris nodules. Recurrence and remission of the anterior garanulomatous uveitis occurred during the following 3 years. The left eye developed similar anterior uveitis during the follow-up period. The ocular fundus was not affected throughout the course. It was suggested that extreme immunodeficiency may play a role on the onset of uveitis.
