　眼痛で眼科を受診し，片眼の虹彩腫瘍が発見された2症例で，肺癌の転移であることが判明した。いずれも男性で，年齢は82歳と52歳であった。原発巣は，それぞれ肺小細胞癌と肺腺癌であった。1例では前房水に異型細胞が検出され，CEAとCAI5-3が前房水では高値を示し，血清値は正常範囲であった。本例では，前房水の腫瘍マーカーの検索と細胞診が，転移性虹腫瘍の補助診断に有用であった。

Two cases with ocular pain as the chief complaint were diagnosed as unilateral iris tumor. Further studies led to the detection of lung carcinoma as the underlying cause. Both were males aged 82 and 52 years each. One had small cell lung carcinoma and the other had adenocarcinoma of the lung. In the second case, atypical cells consistent with adenocarcinoma were detected in the aqueous. The carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen (CA15-3) values were elevated in the aqueous and were normal in the serum. This case illustrates the usefulness of cytological studies and tumor markers in the aqueous in the diagnosis of metastatic iris tumor.
