　ハンフリー自動視野計（HFA II）に備えられたSITAプログラムは，最尤法を基にした新しい測定戦略法である。今回SITAによる視野計測を行い，その臨床評価を行った。

　対象は正常者12例12眼，高眼圧症3例3眼，緑内障13例20眼，網膜疾患10例11眼，頭蓋内疾患2例3眼で，全症例にHFA IIのプログラム24-2をFASTPAC,SITA accurate,SITA fastを用いて行った。

　FASTPACと比較した測定時間短縮率は，SITA accurateで17.6％，SITA fastで43.4％であった。Mean deviation （MD），pattern standard deviation （PSD）におけるFASTPACとSITAの比較では強い正の相関性が認められ，MD,PSDの平均も両者に差がなかった。各々の視野の比較から緑内障以外の疾患においてもSITAによる測定法が有用であった。

We evaluated the clinical usefulness of Swedish Interactive Thresholding Algorithm (SITA) for Humphrey Field Analyzer (HFA II) on 49 eyes. The series comprised 12 normal eyes, 3 eyes with ocular hypertension, 20 eyes with glaucoma, 11 eyes with retinal lesions and 3 eyes with intracranial lesions. Each subject was tested by program 24-2 of HFA II using FASTPAC, SITA accurate and SITA fast. When compared with FASTPAC, the reduction in testing time was 17.6% for SITA accurate and 43.4% for SITA fast. There was a positive correlation between FASTPAC and SITA regarding the mean deviation (MD) and pattern standard deviation (PSD) . There was no significant difference between mean values of MD and PSD among the three strategies. SITA was also useful for diseases other than glaucoma.
