（18-G409-13）　耳側角膜切開無縫合による超音波白内障手術後の角膜乱視につき，視軸と角膜切開縁間の長さとの関連を検索した。術後3か月で，3.0mm切開228眼では約0.15D,3.8mm切開116眼では，約0.4Dの乱視の変化があった。視軸が角膜を通る点と角膜切開縁との距離は，惹起角膜乱視量との間に有意な相関を示さなかった。視軸と切開縁との距離は角膜径と密な関係にあるので，角膜径が術後の角膜乱視の主要な原因でないと結論される。

We evaluated the relationship between corneal astigmatism and the distance of corneal incision from the visual axis after temporal clear-cornea incision stitchless cataract surgery with phacoemulsification and aspiration. The postoperative astigmatism averaged 0.15 diopters (D) in 228 eyes with 3.0-mm incision and 0.4D in 116 eyes with 3.8-mm incision 3 months after surgery. There was no significant difference between astigmatism and the distance of corneal incision from the site of the visual axis in the central cornea. Since the distance is closely correlated with the corneal diameter, the findings show that the corneal diameter is not the major factor for astigmatism after cataract surgery.
