（17-P1-1）　虐待が原因と考えられる幼児の巨大裂孔網膜剥離の1例を経験した。患児は1歳3か月の男児で，右眼白内障の治療目的に受診した。右眼は全白内障と硝子体出血を伴う巨大裂孔網膜剥離を生じていた。患児は体重増加不良に加えて，10か月時に擦過傷・熱傷跡，多発骨折などの症状が全身にあり，被虐待児症候群の疑いとして入院歴があったが，確定診断には至らず家庭へ復帰していた。眼障害に対して手術を施行し，退院後は両親からの分離をはかった。今後，眼科領域においても虐待の症例の増加が予想される。日常診療に注意を払い，他科との連絡を密にとり，他職種の専門家と連携して診断および治療にあたることが重要である。

A 15-month-old male infant was referred to us for cataract in his right eye. The affected eye showed total cataract, vitreous hemorrhage and retinal detachment with giant tear. The infant showed retarded growth and had a history of hospitalization for multiple bone fractures, scratching and burn scars of the skin 5 months before. Battered child syndrome had been suspected but he was allowed to return home in the absence of definite diagnosis. The affected eye was duely treated and the infant was separated from his parents after discharge. It is presumed that similar instance will increase in the ophthalmological practice. Proper diagnosis and treatment are required for the abused children under cooperation with other medical specialities.
