Abstract 文献概要

　外側眼窩切開術にて眼窩部腫瘍を肉眼的に全摘出できた19例の眼窩内腫瘍位置について検討した。本例に用いられた外側眼窩切開術は，通常の外側眼窩切開術とこれに上方眼窩切開術を加えたもの，および　骨弓切開を加えたものの計3種に分類され，それぞれのアプローチにより摘出された腫瘍位置を一人の水平断CT画像上に重ね書きした。この研究から外側眼窩切開術およびその上方および下方への拡大により内直筋の眼窩内壁側を除くほぼ全ての眼窩部腫瘍が摘出可能であることがわかった。

We reviewed the location of surgically extirpated orbital tumor in nineteen eyes. We used lateral orbitotomy alone in 10 eyes, additional superoleteral orbitotomy in 5 eyes and additional inferolateral orbitotomy in 4 eyes. Locations of tumors were plotted on an image of axial computed tomography in a standard normal orbit. The findings showed that orbital tumors can be totally removed by lateral orbitotomy alone or with its modifications except when the tumor is located nasal to the medial rectus muscle.
