（24C1-11）　健常者6名6眼（平均年齢29.1±3.4歳）と白内障患者8名14眼（平均年齢65.0±7.2歳）を対象として．多局所網膜電図（multifocal electroretinogram：MERG）の陽性波と視力の関係を検討した。眼鏡箔で健常者の視力を0.1〜0.3に低下させてMERGを記録すると，中心窩（Ring＃1）と中心窩2.7°以内（Ring＃2）の応答はいずれも有意に低下した（p＜0.01,p＜0.05）。白内障眼は健常者と比較してRing＃1とRing＃2のいずれの振幅も低下していた（p＜0.01）。また白内障眼の視力を0.4以下と0.5〜0.9の群に分けて検討したところ，0.4以下の群で両者の振幅が低下していた（p＜0.05）。潜時には有意差はみられなかった。視力はMERGの安定した記録のための重要な因子の一つであると考えられた。

We recorded multifocal electroretinogram (MERG) in 6 eyes of 6 normal subjects and in 14 eyes of 8 cataract patients. The ages averaged 29.1±3.4 years in the former group and 65.0± 7.2 years in the latter. The response density of positive waves of MERG from the fovea and the parafovea within 2.7 degrees from the fixating point was suppressed significantly after reducing the visual acuity to 0.1 to 0.3 with an occluder in normal subjects (p ＜ 0.01, p ＜ 0.05) . The response density was smaller in cataract eyes than in normal subjects (p＜0.01). It was smaller in cataract eyes with visual acuity under 0.4 than in those with visual acuity between 0.5 and 0.9 (p＜0.05). No differences were present in peak latencies. It is concluded that the visual acuity is one of the important factors to record stable MERG.
