Abstract 文献概要

　視神経乳頭が緑内障性の陥凹を呈し，視野は緑内障性変化を示しながら，開放隅角で，眼圧は常に正常範囲にある低眼圧緑内障124例について原因検索を行ったところ多発性脳梗塞がみられた4症例を報告した。

　症例は57〜80歳ですべて男性であった。頭部CT検査により脳内に多発性の脳梗塞巣が認められた。高血圧，糖尿病が2例，狭心症が1例にみられた。

　視神経の緑内障性変化の原因として視神経の栄養血管の循環障害による視神経乳頭の脆弱性のためと考えられた。

We identified 124 cases of low-tension glaucoma. All the cases showd glaucomatous disc cupping, visual field defects and wide chamber angle with the intraocular pressure less than 21 mmHg. Neu-rological and radiological examinations of these 124 cases led to the detection of 4 cases with multiple cerebral infarctions. All the 4 cases weremales with ages ranging from 57 to 80 years. Two patients suffered from systemic hypertension and diabetes mellitus. One patient had a history of angiona pectoris. We presumed that circulatory disturbances in the optic nerve head led to the clinical manifestations simulating low-tension glaucoma in these 4 cases.
