Abstract 文献概要

　脳障害患者6例での糸状角膜炎について報告した。いずれも従来いわれている糸状角膜炎をきたしやすい眼科的および全身的関連疾患を伴っておらず，涙液分泌減少はなかったが，角膜知覚は減弱していた。顔面神経麻痺による閉瞼障害はなかったが，瞬目異常と眼振，および痙攣発作に伴う強い閉瞼が認められた。脳障害の範囲，意識障害の期間と程度は，角膜の臨床像とは関係しなかった。約半年の間に6例の発症を見たことから，脳障害患者では糸状角膜炎は稀な疾患ではないと考えた。糸状角膜炎を起こしやすい疾患のリストに脳障害を新たに付け加えるべきである。

We observed filamentary keratitis in 6 patients with cerebral disorders in our hospital during a 6-month period. None of the 6 patients manifested ocular or systemic features which would predispose to filamentary keratitis. Tear secretion as mea-sured by Schirmer test was within normal range. Corneal sensitivity was slightly decreased. There was no case of lagophthalmos. Some patients manifested blinking abnormalities, nystagmus or convulsions. The severity of filamentary keratitis was not correlated with the degree of cerebral disorders. While the exact mechanism is not clear, presence of cerebral disorders seemed to be a risk factor for filamentary keratitis.
