　汎ぶどう膜炎をともなった若年性関節リウマチ（JRA）の1症例を報告した。JRAの眼症状としては虹彩毛様体炎，白内障，帯状角膜変性症がよく知られているが，眼底に病変を確認されたJRAの症例はまれである。

A 12-year-old boy presented with bilateral ciliaryinjection since 8 weeks before. Swelling of smalljoints in his left hand was present during the fore-going 4 weeks. He manifested, bilaterally, iridocy-clitis, papilledema, dilated retinal veins and diffuseretinal edema. Fluorescein angiography showeddiffuse leakage of dye from the choroid. The ocularand systemic findings inclusive of laboratory datawere compatible with the diagnosis of juvenilerheumatoid arthritis. Peroral prednisolone for 7months resulted in clinical cure of uveitis. No recur-rence of uveitis has been observed during 8 monthsafter withdrawal of prednisolone. The present caseillustrates the possibility that posterior uveitis maydevelop in association of juvenile rheumatoidarthritis.
