I．緒言

　涙小管断裂の比較的新しいものでは，涙液の通過をふたたび円滑に行なわしめんがために，早急に両断端を縫合しなければならない。しかし鼻側断端を探し出すことはしばしば困難で難儀なるものである。私は今回涙小管断裂症例を経験し，涙嚢壁切開により涙小管の鼻側断端を発見し，手術後の経過良好例に遭遇したので報告する。

A case of traumatically lacerated lacrimal canaliculus of the left eye due to canine bitewas successfully treated by the author. After several futile attempts at finding the medial opening of the severed canaliculus buried in the wound, the lacrimal sac was opened by cutting the medial ligament. A pore was found at the nasal wall of the sac, which proved to be the opening of the upper canaliculus by prob-ing. Another opening was found below it, through which a probe was introduced. The probe emerged from the medial end of the lacerated canaliculus in the wound.
