I．緒言

　多発性骨髄腫は内科方面ではそう稀な疾患ではないが，眼症状を伴うものは比較的少なく，我々は今回眼窩に初発症状を呈した多発性骨髄腫を経験したのでその臨床経過並びに剖検所見を報告する。

A 51year-old woman was admitted with a complaint of disturbance of vision and propto-sis of the left eye.

Clinical examinations on the eye indicated amaurotic pupillary rigidity and proptosis of the left eye without any abnormal ophthal-moscopic findings, and X-ray studies revealed many punched-out figures in the skull and compression fracture of the VIII-th thoracic vertebrae. Moreover, Bence-Jones protein was constantly proved in her urine, and electro-phoretic examinations of her serum protein indicated a typical myeloma of γ₂ II type.
