I．はじめに

　多発性骨髄腫とは異常形質細胞が骨髄中に増殖し，末期に骨髄機能の低下をきたして死亡する骨髄増殖性症候群である．本疾患は高率に重複腫瘍を合併することが知られているが脳腫瘍を合併した例は極めて少ない．われわれは最近，多発性骨髄腫にastrocytomaを合併した，稀な同時性重複腫瘍の1剖検例を経験したのでその発生機序等につき，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A case of cerebral astrocytoma associated with a sys-tematic multiple myeloma is reported. A 76-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of left hemi-paresis. The CT scan revealed a cystic tumor at the right parietal lobe. A serum protein electrophoresis showed a monoclonal peak in the region of γ-globulin, and examination of bone marrow revealed 15% of aty-pical plasma cells. After irradiation and chemotherapy, the patient suffered from DIC syndrome and died. Autopsy findings revealed a cerebral astrocytoma and bone marrow infiltration by myeloma cells in the ster-num, vertebrae, costae, pelvis, and so on.
