Abstract 文献概要

　1987年までの8年間に，手術的に摘出または切除された眼部腫瘤性病変のうち，病理組織学的に悪性腫瘍と診断された50症例について検討を加えた。

　1）頻度は年平均6.3例であり，増加傾向は認められなかった。

　2）性差では，女性に若干多かった。

　3）年齢分布は，男性の平均が45.3歳，女性の平均が55.3歳であった。

　4）病理診断別頻度は基底細胞癌18例，網膜芽細胞腫9例，脂腺癌7例，扁平上皮癌，悪性黒色腫が5例などであった。転移性腫瘍は肺癌から脈絡膜への1例のみであった。

　5）部位別では，眼瞼が30例，60％と過半数を占めた。眼窩は5例と少数にとどまった。

　6）再手術を施行されたものが5例あった。

　7）放射線療法は16例に施行されていた。

　8）化学療法は4例に施行されていた。

We reviewed a consecutive series of 50 cases ofmalignant tumors in the ocular region during theforegoing 8 years through 1987. All the cases hadbeen examined pathologically.

The incidence stayed virtually the same over theperiod. The series consisted of 22 males and 28females. The ages of the patients ranged from 0 to84 years, average 50.9 years. The ages averaged 45.3 years for males and 55.3 for females.

Basal cell carcinoma was the most frequentpathological type (18 cases), followed by retino-blastoma (9) and sebaceous adenocarcinoma (1).There was only one case of metastatic tumor.There were 30 cases (60%) of tumor in the eyelidand only 5 cases (10%) of tumor in the orbit.

All the cases were surgically treated. Additionalsurgeries became necessary in 5 cases. Postoper-ative radiotherapy and chemotherapy were given to16 cases and 4 cases respectively.
