　眼内レンズ挿入後の20例（嚢内法（ICCE）後虹彩支持レンズ4例4眼，嚢外法（ECCE）後後房レンズ16例17眼）を対象として，術後血液房水柵の経時的変化を前房フルオロフォトメトリーならびに虹彩螢光血管撮影により，虹彩毛様体への侵襲と程度を検討した．10％フルオレセインNa液10mg／kg体重静注5分，60分，120分後の前房内フルオレセイン濃度を測定し，非手術眼を対照として比較した．（1）術後1週〜3カ月は眼内レンズ挿入眼の前房内フルオレセイン濃度はコントロール眼より高値であるが，経時的に低下し術後9カ月〜1年で両者の間の差は縮小し，60分値における濃度比は1となった．このことより，少なくとも血液房水柵の修復は9カ月〜1年要するものと推定した．（2）手術時年齢60歳以下と以上では，前者に前房内フルオレセイン濃度が低い傾向にあった．（3）虹彩支持レンズ挿入眼の症例は術後1年半〜7年で，コントロール眼との差を認めなかった．（4） Cystoid macular edema，術後早期に炎症を認めた症例では，5〜15分の初期前房内フルオレセイン濃度が著しく高かった．（5）臨床的に前房フルオロフォトメトリーを5分〜60分測定することにより，虹彩毛様体への侵襲による血液房水柵の傷害を察知できることが示唆された．

We evaluated the state of blood-aqueous barrier following intraocular lens implantation by means of anterior chamber fluorophotometery performed 5,60 and 120 minutes after intravenous injection of fluorescein. The cases included 4 eyes with iris-supported lens following intracapsular lens extrac-tion and 17 eyes with posterior chamber lens after extracapsular lens extraction. Measurements were performed 7 days to 7 years after surgery.

As a general trend, the fluorescein concentration in the anterior chamber was markedly increased until 3 months after surgery and gradually tapered to reach the normal level 9 to 12 months after sur-gery. The values were slightly higher in cases aged 60 years or less than in older ones. There was no difference in values between iridocapsular and pos-terior chamber lenses. An elevation of fluorescein concentration was noted in eyes with postsurgical iritis or cystoid macular edema.
