Abstract 文献概要

　1977年より約4年間に613眼の白内障外来手術を経験した。眼内レンズ手術と経過観察のできなかった例を除く502眼についてまとめた。全身的及び局所的に大きな事故もなく，術後も良好な視力を得ることが出来た。第一選択は，やはり入院手術をとるべきであると考えるが，顕微鏡による今日の術式，とりわけ充分な創の閉鎖による白内障手術は，外来手術によっても入院との問に差を認めなかった。

Cataract surgery in ambulant patients has been performed in 613 eyes during a 4-year period end-ing 1980. A retrospective appraisal was made in 502 eyes after excluding eyes with intraocular lens or with insufficient followup data. In general, the out-come was satisfactory as regards the postopertive visual findings. There was no notable systemic or ocular troubles. While cataract surgery is basically to be performed on inpatients, it can be safely done on ambulant patients if meticulous care is made to close the surgical wound with the use of surgical microscope.
