Abstract 文献概要

　角膜ヘルペス基本型と角膜真菌症とを同時に合併し，特徴的な臨床所見を呈した2症例について報告した。その特徴は次の様な所見であった。

（1）地図状潰瘍。

（2）潰瘍中央部は不透明で凹凸不平。

（3）潰瘍辺縁はジグザグになっており，強い浸潤を伴う。

　これらの特徴をそなえる角膜潰瘍を診たならば，HSVと真菌との混合感染によって生じた角膜潰瘍である事を念頭において検査し，治療には抗ヘルペス剤と抗真菌剤とを併用するのが望ましい事を強調した。

We observed two cases of herpetic keratitis as-sociated with keratomycosis. The diagnosis was confirmed by fluorescein antigen-antibody technique for herpes simplex virus (HSV) and by isolation of the fungus from the lesion in both cases. The corneal ulcer was characterized by its geographic pattern, opaque and uneven appearance, zigzag shape of the edge and intense corneal infiltration.

A simultaneous infection by HSV and fungus should be suspected in the presence of corneal ulcers with above clinical features. Treatment with anti-HSV and anti-fungal agents is to be indicated in such instances.
