33歳と36歳の2女性にみられた黄斑部病変についてその臨床経過を報告した。この黄斑部病変は，年齢，検眼鏡所見，螢光眼底造影所見，CTスキャン，超音波検査の所見よりGassらの報告したChoroidal Osteomaと一致すると考えられた。Choroidal Osteomaの臨床像，鑑別診断，成因について述べた。
Two cases of yellowish-white choroidal lesion in the macula were observed in otherwise healthy young females aged 33 and 36 years each.
In the first case angiographic finding resembled macular degeneration with subretinal-neovascu-larization. In the second case the ophthalmoscopic findings simulated amelanotic choroidal malig-nant melanoma. Other clinical characteristics were coincidental with those reported by Gass and others, so the lesions were diagnosed as choroidal osteoma.
The choroidal osteoma has to be differentiated from amelanotic malignant melanoma of the cho-roid, metastatic tumor and choroidal angioma.
