　（1）アルゴンレーザーとクリプトンレーザーによる凝固効果の差は，照射入力の弱い時は認められるが，強くなれば認め難い。

　（2）凝固効果に差の出る照射入力の範囲内では，網膜深層にほぼ同性質同程度の効果をもたらすが，浅層に対してはアルゴンは著明な影響をもたらすが，クリプトンではそれほど強い影響を与えない。

Histological studies were made after photoco-agulation of pigmented rabbits using argon and krypton lasers. Differences in the effect of photo-coagulation were noted only when lower inten-sities were used. There was a tendency for the krypton laser to produce more noticeable effects in the outer retinal layers and lesser effects in the inner layers than argon at lower input levels. When more intense input energy was used, there was no histological differences in the effect of argon and krypton lasers.
