クリプトンレーザー光凝固器が新しく開発され,臨床に用いられる様になってきているが,今回網膜静脈閉塞症および糖尿病性網膜症において,治療効果および視機能に及ぼす影響について従来のアルゴンレーザー光凝固との比較を行った.
概括的には,治療効果に両者に差は認めなかった.クリプトンレーザーは硝子体出血や白内障など中間透光体の混濁があっても凝固可能であり,このことが臨床的にもっとも有利な点であった.
視機能に対する影響では,ERG,視野ともクリプトンレーザー凝固後の方が障害されにくい傾向を認めた.しかしこの点は症例数が少ないので明確な結論は出せなかった.
We evaluated the therapeutic values of krypton and argon lasers as applied to retinal vascular lesions including : central retinal vein occlusion (16 eyes), branch retinal vein occlusion (29), diabetic retinopathies of either simple, preprolieferative or proliferative types (54). A total of 55 eyes were treated by krypton and the other 44 by argon. The assessment of clinical effects was conducted 3 to 6 months after the last session of laser treat-ment.
There was no significant differences in the clini-cal effects between the two laser types. In eyes with incipient cataract or vitreous opacity,krypton laser was more effective than argon in creating coagula-tions in the retina. There was a tendency for eyes with diabetic retinopathy to better maintain the visual function when treated by krypton than by argon.
