緒言

　眼組織崩壊を伴うベーチェット病などの眼内血管の構造上の変化については，光学顕微鏡^1,2）および電子顕微鏡的研究^3）などでほぼ明らかにされている。しかしこれらの疾患では組織崩壊と同時に組織の増殖も認められ，正常組織にも増して活発な組織呼吸や栄養分の補給が必要である。このため血管新生という異常な現象が生じているものと考えられる。

　血管新生は角膜，虹彩および網膜疾患などで可視的現象として確認されており，それら各組織の新生血管については多くの報告^4〜7）がなされている。

The new vessels in the retinal proliferative tissues, obtained from a 35-year-old man with Behçet's disease, were studied by electron mic-roscope and were compared with the degenera-tive retinal vessels in this disease.

The new vessels were classified into two typ-es. One of them was a fenestrated capillary and the other was continuous one. Capillaries which had one or two endothelial cells did not show a degenerative sign, while small blood vessels which had four or five endothelial cells showed the degenerative changes.
