緒言

　1929年Cushing，Eisenhardt両氏が始めて視交叉蜘網膜炎に眼症状を合併する事を報告して以来，眼科領域においても視交叉蜘網膜炎に関して多数の報告がみられる様になり，本邦においても荒木，庄司，浅山，井街（謙並びに譲）等の諸氏を始めとして幾多の諸氏により報告されている。

　最近我々は視力障害と略々完全な両耳側半盲症を呈したのみで眼底に何等著変を示さないと云う従来の報告例とやや症状を異にした症例を経験し，プレドニンの投与により急速に症状の軽快をみたのでここに報告する次第である。

The patient was a man, 42 years of age. He visited the author's hospital for the first time the 18 th of April, 1960. His main complaints were visual disturbances in both eyes. He complained also, that he had had a headache for 20 days and also had fever about 38℃. At the fifth day from the attack of fever, visual disturbances appeared, Findings were as follows:

The light reflexes of the pupils were slightly sluggish, when the light was directed to the eye from the temporal side. The fundi were normal. Visual acuity was 0.4 (1.2x-1.5D, right eye) and 0.1(n.c.).
