脳腫瘍と思われた視束交叉部蜘網膜炎の2例

Two cases of arachnoiditis optochiasmatica acuta

I．緒言

　著者等は最近脳動脈撮影によって視束交叉部の腫瘍，或は嚢腫を疑い開頭術を施行したところ，視束交叉部の癒着及び肥厚を認め，該患部の蜘網膜癒着剥離並びに除去によって，急速に視力の改善された2例を経験したのでここに報告する。

The authors reported two cases of Arachnoiditis optochiasmatica acuta, with chocked discs which were suggested brain tumors at the region of chiasma by the cerebroangiography and pneumoencepharography. As a result of craniotomy in each cases, there was no tumor but the arachnoiditis at the region of optochiasma. It was very effective to detach the adhesion and to remove the membrance.

After the operation their visual acuity became nomal, their visual fields were enlarged, and their central scotoms disappeared.
