私は最近慢性硬膜下血腫による高度のウツ積乳頭で開頭術により血腫を除去したにも拘わらず来院の時期が遅かつた為か遂に両眼失明に陥つた症例に遭遇したので報告する。
A man aged 40 fell off his bicycle and received slight scratch wounds to his forehead and nose on February 5, 1959, being followed by loss of conscionsness for about 10 minu-tes. After this accident, however, he had kept at his work without any complaint. In the meanwhile, he began to suffer from headache and vomiting since around April 23 and then, on May 5 he fell into a faint again which lasted for a week. When he recoveredconscionsness, he became aware of the loss of vision, and first attended our clinic on June 11. The visual acuity was light perception in both eyes, and the ophthalmoscopic exami-nation revealed remarkable.
