1．緒論
1952年須田教授は，緑内障の早期診断の目的で眼球圧迫試験を創始した。その後Blaxt町氏も同様の試験を行つている。この方法は緑内障の優秀な診断法として一般に認められている。
この方法はオフタルモジナメーターにて50g10分間眼球を圧迫し，圧迫除去直後の眼圧が7.0mmHg （シエツツ氏表）以下のものは正常，8mmHg以上は緑内障，7.1mmHg〜7.9mmHgのものは疑とするものである。
Tonograph and bulbar compression test were performed on 39 eyes of suspected glucoma, 86 eyes of simple glaucoma, 27 eyes of chronic congestive glaucoma and 11 eyes of secod-dary glaucoma. Pressure of 50g. is applied with an ophthalmodynamometer on the bul-bar for 10 minutes.
Initial pressure-the pressure on removing the dynamometer/Initial pressure×100 is called the rate ofdecrease in ocular tension (R. D.).
According to Suda's experiment, R. D. averages 74.9% in normal eyes.
