1. Various methods of clinical tonography have been analyzed as to their value in diffe-rentiating glaucomatous eyes from non-glauco-matous ones. Representative cases from a seri-es of 3,500 tonograms served as basis for the present study. Following calculations were made on each tonogram:

C0-4:classical tonography for the initial 4 minutes.

C0-5:same as above for the initial 5 mi-nutes.

C0-4C: same as above corrected for scleral rigidity.

C0-5C:same as above for the initial 5 mi-nutes.

C0-5M:C0-5×18/Po (after Merté, 1965)

C3-7:"tonography test" after Leydhe-cker.
