眼窩炎性僞腫瘍について

On the Inflammatory Pseudo-tumour of Orbit

　眼窩炎性偽腫瘍については，淋巴腫，炎症眼窩硬化症，リンフォマトージス，リポグラヌロマトージス等^1）とも名付けられて，本邦で既に100例を越える報告があり，決して稀なものではなく，Reese^2）も片側性眼球突出の最も一般的原因の1であると述べている。その原因については，未だ不明であるが，私達は興味ある組織像を示し，その成立機転について有力な示唆を与えると考えられる症例を経験したので，此処に報告して，御批判を乞う次第である。

The authors reported two cases of orbital pseudo-tumour (orbital chronic granuloma).

Case I : male, aged 31, old hyalinised granuloma.

Case II : male, aged 51, granuloma in the early stage.

The most characteristic histologic finding of two cases was pariartial fibrosis, which was thought as a feature of primary allergic hyperglobrinosis by Teilum. Morever, the authors recognised the picture of the beginning of periarteritis nodosa in case II. These findings may suggest that the pseudo-tumour of orbit delongs to the allergic diseases.

Further, the authors cited the diagnosis and definition of orbital dseudo-tumour.
