　眼窩炎症性偽腫瘍とは諸種の臨床所見が一見眼窩真性腫瘍の如く思われるものの内，その組織学的所見，或いは経過の臨床的観察により，真性腫瘍及び結核，梅毒等の特殊性炎症並びに全身疾患の一部分症である事が否定された後に残る，眼窩の非特異的慢性炎症に原因せるものの総称である。

　私達は昭和25年以降現在迄に教室で得た6例について報告する。

In this paper were reported six cases ranging in age from 21 to 69 years old of orbital inflammatory pseudotumor. Of these six cases one was female. In on male case it was bilateral.

In all the cases exophthalmos, limitation of ocular movement, and visual disturbance were observed clinically, but changes in the fundus were very slight. All the cases were operated on for extirpation of the pseudotumors. In two cases, including the one with bilateral tumors, the tumors were located intraorbitally, in another in the M. levat. sup., and in a fourth, in an external ocular muscle.
