京都府篠村一般住民に対するトラコーマ集団治療成績

Mass Treatment of Trachoma in Shino-Mura, Kyoto.

　昭和32年2月9日より5月11日迄の3カ月間，京都府南桑田郡篠村野條地区に於て教室が行つたトラコーマ集団治療の成績について述べる。

The results of treatment of trachoma patients of Shinomura village, Kyoto prefecture were as follows :——

1) 687 of the total population (783) were examined. Of these 116 or 16.9% were diagnosed as having trachoma and trachoma dubium. Using Mac Callan's classification the authors have the following :

Trachoma dubium 20 individuals or 17.3%

Trachoma I 22 individuals or 19.0%

Trachoma IIa 2 individuals or 1.7%

Trachoma IIb 2 individuals or 1.7%

Trachoma III 60 individuals or 51.7%

Trachoma IV 10 individuals or 8.6%
