調節作用を中心として，之に輻輳作用を関係させた場合，そのはたらきの各相を充分に表現することの出来る装置は，今日までの眼科学及び生理学の領域では殆んど見られない。筆者等はこの目的に添うことの出来る一装置を試作し，第9回臨床眼科学会の席上で発表した。
この場合は之を調節時間の測定に応用したが，つづいて第60回日本眼科学会総会席上で，この装置を用いて空間視の研究を試みた成績について報告した。
We had previously tried to apply the autographic asthenopiameter to measurement of fatigue, studies on space-sight, etc. However, as it became clear from our former studies that the first trial manufacture can not admit the wider measuring range, we devised out another new apparatus which could measure eight types of function.
The characteristic of the new apparatus is analytical recordings of the controlling func-tions for convenient diagnosis.
