  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

I have made a trial construction of an optometre improving upon that of Ishihara's type, the vision target of which moves with theoretical correctness. Furthermore, I have made improvements on the apparatuses including the vision targets so that its illumination may be constant when equipped with an illumination apparatus.

Thus, the construction of the optometre is, in my opinion, conforming to the progress of ophthalmology.

I have tested both normal men and patients suffering from asthenopia with reference to the continuous near points of the eyes under almost the same condition by the use of this instrument.
