緒言
近来欧米諸国に於ては種々の新らしい視野測定装置が考案発売せられており，微細な視野の変化も精密に測定されるようになつて来ているが，我が国の現状は尚殆ど旧来の視野測定法が用いられている状態で，粗大な視野の変状は知り得ても，微細な視野の変化の探求は困難である。それ故現在の視野測定法に改良を加え，更に精密な視野測定に資する目的を以て本研究を行つた。
The author performed examination of the visual field measuring in a dark room by mean-s of the instrument arranged a fluorescent lamp (20W) of natural light color to the Tokyo Univ. type perimeter.
1. The intensity of illumination at the surface of the visual field should be more than 300 Lux.
2. The parallel examination on the figure in the visual perimeter was curried out with 2 white visual targets of 1mm spherical and 10mm round.
The figures of 1mm visual target decrease in various directions compare with that of 10mm.
