Ⅰ．緒言

　1942年Ascher^4）に依つて発見され命名された房水静脈はその後，発見者のAscher，又全然別箇にこれを発見したと言うGoldmann^2）の外欧米に於ては多数の研究者あり．本邦に於ても岸本^3），呉りの外数氏によつて研究がなされ，本脈管がSchlemm氏管より起るものであり，この中を流れる清流が房水に外ならないことはもはや信じても略々差支えないことである。

　さて眼内圧の変動を起す因子として先ず手取り早く考えられるものは（1）房水産生，（2）房水流出の両者である。両者の均衡に破綻を来せば眼内圧の変動を来すことは当然であるが房水静脈の発見は後者の房流水出面の観察に有力なる手懸りを提供したこととなり従つてこの方面よりする緑内障問題の研究が活澱に展開せられる様になつた。

The changes of visible outflow of aqueous vein and intraocular pressure hours after the internal use of Diamox 250mg. were studied in 10 eyes of normal and eyes of glaucoma. In the decis-ion of decrease of intraocular pressure, there were moderate difference statistically between the routine methode and other methode in which the difference of days were considered. The effects to decreae the intraocular pressure by the internal use of Diamox were definite in the eyes in which the apex of the difference of days in the intraocular pressure were normal value or over it.
