キシロカインの角膜に対する麻酔力に就いて

Anesthetic effect of Xylocaine against the cornea

緒言

　コカインに代る点眼麻酔藥としては従来ホロカイン，パントカイン，ヌペルカイン等があり，之等の代用藥物は眼圧変動を来さないとしてトノメトリー時の点眼麻酔に用いられている。最近ドイツの新藥コルネカインも同様の新藥として登場し，我国でも若干の使用経験が報告された^3）。私共は此の度キシロカインを試用する機会を得たので，その角膜に対する麻酔力を検討した。

The anethetic effect of Xylocaine studied.

1) One drop of Xylocaine was administered into the conjunctival sack and the disappearance time and the reappearance time of sensory were compared with Cocaine and Narcaine.

2) Drop of Xylocaine were administered in eyes every 5 minutes and the intraocular pressure were investigated by tnnometry every 15 minutes for one hour.

3) In eyes of rabbit, the intraocular pressure were studied by the manometry when the Xylocaine was used and compared with Narcain.

As the result,, it was proved that Xylocain does not affect against the intraocular pressure and can be used as drop anesthesia.
