Minicomputer-classified Patterns of Repeated Measurement of Accommodation near Pointtime

緒言

　全身あるいはは，眼局所の異常に調節機能は，敏感に反応する。こうした時の近点および，調節時間の多くは，延長する。しかし，これを反測測定したとき，測定回数を重ねるに従つて，しだいに延長したり，あるいは，短縮を示したりする。前者の変化を量的とするなら，後者は質的と表現することが出来る。それは，多くの臨床経験から後者の場合は，単なる測定値の平均より，変化の状態から調節機能の微妙な変状を察知することができると思われるからである。

　萩野，鈴村^1）は，こうした近点及び調節時間の反復測定値の変動について，多数例から検討した結果，第1図に示すごとき6つの変動型に分類出来ることを明らかにした。そして，これらの変動型の臨床的意義については，必ずしも明らかではないが，萩野，鈴村^2），寺本^3），堀^4），萩野^5），鈴村^6），らによる報告から，その臨床的意義の大きいことが予想される。

Earlier studies by Hagino and Suzumura re-vealed interesting pattern changes in the near point and time of accommodation as obtained by repeated measurement in visual fatigue, asthenopia or refractive errors. They classified these patterns into six types and the data have served as vauable guides in more accurate dia-gnosis.

These pattern classifications, however, re-main subjective and are not always reproduci-ble. The present study was undertaken to make the classification with the use of a Sony minicomputer.
