眼精疲労患者の循環動態について（第2報）

Plethysmographic Studies on General Circulating Conditions in Asthenopia

緒言

　神経性眼精疲労患者の循環動態を，指尖容積脈波を用いて検査したところ，多数例に潜在性心不全を表わすといわれている，同一傾向をもつ異常patternが認められたことは，第1報^1）にて報告した。

　これに対して，神経性眼精疲労以外の，系統的な眼科臨床検査によつて，従来より主訴の原因となるものと考えられている異常所見の見出される，いわゆる眼精疲労患者についても，脈波上同一傾向のpatternがえられた。そして，局所（視器）的処置を施さず，循環動態の改善のみにて，以前より使用していた眼鏡等も不要となるなど，眼精疲労症状の消退が多数例で認められたので，眼精疲労の本態について，少し考えてみたい。

Hemodynamics was studied in 37 patients with asthenopic complaints by photoplethysmo-graphy of the finger, X-ray photography of the chest and other related examinations. These patients were all younger than forty years old and had some ophthalmologic or general find-ings.

1. The patterns or plethysmogram obtained from these patients indicated cardiac mechano-insufficiency and peripheral resistance, which were similar to those observed in patients with asthenopic complaints with negative ophthal-mologic findings.
