Televisionの人体への影響とその予防法の研究

Studies on the Influences of Television upon the Human Subjects and on their Preventive Methods

　Television観賞が人体に及ぼす影響については，すでにその成績の一部をNagoya Journalof Medical Science Vol., 17, 353に発表した。しかしTelevisionの人体への影響とその予防法を解決するには，最も明瞭に見え且つ疲労等の影響の少ない観賞条件並びにTelevision機構を見出さなければならない。

　前報までに述べたように，Television映像の見え方については，種々な条件の下に検討をくわえ多数の知見を得た。そこで今回は見え方に影響する種々な条件が，輻輳及び調節機能にどの様に影響するかについて実験し，見え方と疲労の両面からTelevisionの人体への影響について検討し，更に進んで観賞条件からの予防法について考察した。

Experiments were performed on the inflences of watching television on the visual function.

The functions of relative convergence and accommodation before and after watching the broadcasted television and patterns produced by pattern generator were compaired, chang-ing the duration of watching, visual distance, brightness of the room and wave length from the screen.

Results were as follows:

(1) The relative convergence, especially positive relative convergence, diminished after watching television.
