Analysis of Accommodative Disorders by Pupillo-Accommodogram

緒　言

　視覚成立に瞳孔・調節・輻輳の三つの主要なサブシステムが協調して働いている。このうち瞳孔岩輻輳，調節—輻輳の両者の関係については比較的多くの研究がある。

　瞳孔と調節との関係については，一般に縮瞳反応は輻輳に随伴するものであつて，調節とは関係が少ないことが報告されているが，反論がないわけではない。それは調節と輻輳とを分離することが困難である故に，この問題点に判然とした決論を出していないと考えられる。

Three subsystems form the major components which work together in the visual system as a whole : pupils, accommodation and conve-rgence. In the present study, an infrared opto-meter (AS IIIa) was employed to observe refra-ctive and accommodative disorders in a total of 243 eyes by simultaneous recording of pupils and accommodation (i. e., pupillo-accommodo-gram).

In cases of emmetropia, accommodation was accompanied by pupil reflex that was fluctu-ating or slightly myotonic. However, during maximum near-point accommodation, pronounced miosis was observed.
