嚢腫様増殖をきたした，奇異なる両眼性特発虹彩腫瘍の1例

Idiopathic Iris Tumor Showing Cystic Development

緒言

　虹彩の嚢腫は比較的稀なものである。発生異常としてdermoid cyst^1），いわゆるcongenital iriscyst^2,3），成人においては，外傷や手術に続発して前房に嚢腫様の腫瘤を作るepithelial cyst^4）が最も良く知られている。leiomyoma, melano—maも時にcyst様の形態をとることがあるとされている^5）。われわれは，外傷や手術の既往のない中年女性の両眼に特発し，嚢腫様増殖を示す奇異なる虹彩の良性腫瘍を経験したので，その症例を，治療，組織所見とあわせて報告する。

A Japanese female aged 33 years was hospi-talized because of developmental cysts from the iris margin of both eyes. She had no traumatic or operative history. The visual acuity was severely decreased in light by optic disturbance in pupil. The cystic tumors with normal iris were surgically removed and were prepared for histological examinations which revealed a be-nign epithelioma of the iris pigment epithelium. The visual acuity recovered post-operatively resulting in iris coloboma in both eyes.
