緒言
写真による像形成は，情報をfilmに撮し込むいわゆる撮影と，filmに陰画として記録された情報を感光紙またはfilmに反転，陽画となす画像再生との2つの程過によつて完成される。したがつて，写真を用いての観察が満足に行なわれるためには，撮影法のみならず，撮影以後の画像処理についても十分な配慮が必要である。
すでに撮影されたfilm像から情報を引き出す処理方法として，次の2つが考えられる。
A new subtraction technique modified by the auto-subtraction technique for enhancement of angiographic detail is applied to the fluorescence fundus photograph.
While the method is basically similar to routine subtraction procedure currently in use in pho-tography in that the original negative and re-versed positive films are printed as superim-posure, the latter is made, intentionally, slightly out-of-focus.
This method have severel advantages over the ordinary subtraction method in the following respect.
1) The easy technique of superimposition in this method allows more definite results of sub-traction.
