緒言
悪性腫瘍のブドウ膜への転移は，はなはだ少ないものとされており1）〜3），とりわけ虹彩への転移は極めて稀であつて，本邦においては原ら4）の報告が見られるのみである。
著者らは虹彩腫瘍から肺癌を発見し，それが転移性虹彩癌であることを病理組織学的に確認した1症例を経験したので，その大要を報告する。
A report is presented on a metastatic adeno-carcinoma of the iris. The patient, a 62-year-old healthy male, noted slight visual disturbance in the right eye for the past 2 weeks. Ophthalmo-logical examinations revealed the presence of a small-grayish-white mass with a number of ves-sels on the iris surface at the 4 o'clock position near the periphery. The corrected visual acuity and the intraocular pressure were normal. The left eye was also free of pathological findings.
X-ray studies of the chest showed signs of lung carcinoma in spite of absence of general symptoms.
