I．はじめに

　螢光眼底造影法は，網膜血管の疾患のみでなく，網膜色素上皮や脈絡膜の変性・炎症性疾患の臨床病理像を明らかにする上で，眼科臨床のきわめて有力な検査法となつている。中心性網脈絡膜炎（中心性網膜炎と略称）についても，螢光眼底所見を通じることにより興味ある知見が藤沢氏以来知られてきているのであるが，われわれは，本症の螢光像に新らしい解釈を下すことができ，さらに，螢光眼底造影法と光凝固とを組み合わせることにより，本症を，適応さえ選べばかなり確実に治癒に導けることを確認できた。

Fluorescence findings in eighteen cases of cen-tral serous retinopathy have been classified into three fundamental types. In the first group (12 cases), emigration of fluorescein from the choroidal into the detached subretinal space took place through one or more than one focus some-where inside the edematous area and spread on like an enlarging ink-blot (examples are shown as Fig. 5 & 6 in the text). In the second group (3 cases,) the diffusion of fluorescein in the sub-retinal space was more rapid and characteris-tically extended upwards to reach the uppermost border of the detached, "edematous" area.
