全身に転移をきたしたRetinoblastomaの1剖検例について

Clinical and Autopsy Findings of a Case of Retinoblastoma with Generalized Metastasis

I．緒言

　retinoblastomaにて死亡する症例はまれでないが，これを剖検する機会を持つことは比較的少なく，わが国においては30数例の報告をみるにすぎない。なかんずく両眼性retinoblastomaの剖検例の報告は著者の調べ得た範囲では，いまだ4例にすぎない^{7）12）18）20）}。

　著者はたまたま両眼性retinoblastomaの1例を剖検する機会を得たので，ここに報告する。

An 18-month-old male child was referred to the author's clinic for panophthalmitis OS and suspected retinoblastoma OD. The panophthal-mic condition in the left eye had been present for the foregoing 8 months. After the establish-ment of the clinical diagnosis of retinoblastoma, the left eye was enucleated and the linear acce-lerator therapy was commenced for the right eye and the left orbital cavity. The general condition of the patient improved and the baby could be discharged for home.

One month later, readmission became neces-sary due to swelling of the left preauricular lymph nodes.
