網膜中心静脈閉塞症に関する研究—第1報統計的観察

Studies on the Obstruction of the Central Retinal Vein.:Report 1: Statistic Observation

I．はじめに

　網膜中心静脈閉塞症は，1878年Micher^7）が記載して以来，多数の研究報告^{1）6）14）16）}があり，その統計的観察も本邦においては，三輪^8），余^18），柳田^17），海老原他^4），田野^12），大野^10）らにより行なわれている。著者は昭和37年から昭和42年までの6年間に久留米大学眼科学教室を受診した網膜中心静脈閉塞症78例について，その統計的観察を行なつたのでここに発表する。

A retrospective statistical appraisal is present-ed on 78 cases (80 eyes) with obstruction of the central vein during the 6-year-period from 1962 to 1967 in the author's clinic. Following results have been obtained.

1. The average rate of occurrence of the disease in one year was 13 cases (0.36% of all outpatients) and showed a tendency to increase year by year.

2. The onset of the disease was particularly frequent in April with no otherwise significant seasonal predominance.

3. Both sexes were involved with no signi-ficant difference (38 males versus 40 females).
