網膜中心静脈閉塞症のOCT像

Optical coherence tomographic features of central retinal vein occlusion

　網膜中心静脈閉塞症の1症例を光学的干渉断層計（Optical coherence tomography：OCT）を用いて黄斑部網膜の形態的変化を経時的に観察した。発症時の螢光眼底所見では，後極部網膜に著明な螢光色素の漏出および網膜浮腫を認め，OCT所見においても黄斑部網膜内に低信号域を認め，著明な網膜浮腫を形態的に確認した。内服治療により経過観察を行い，発症後6か月の時点で，螢光眼底検査で網膜浮腫の軽減を，また視力の改善を認め，OCT所見においても黄斑部網膜内の低信号域は縮小していた。OCTは，網膜の形態的変化を非侵襲的に測定できることから網膜浮腫などを経時的に検討するのに有用であると考えられた。

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) in an eye with central retinal vein occlusion showed a low-signal area in the macula with edematous thickening. This finding was consistent with that by fluorescein angiography which showed extensive dye leakage. The retinal edema resolved with improved visual acuity 6 months after onset. The extent of low-signal area in the macula was decreased by OCT. OCT was thus useful for evaluating the anatomical changes of the retina over a long follow-up period.
