I．緒言

　球結膜下に出現し，一見良性腫瘍と思われた腫瘤が，病理組織学的に悪性淋巴腫と判明し，その後再手術と検索によつて，眼窩内の炎性淋巴腫瘍の一部が，悪性に転化したものであることを知つたのでここに報告する。

A 52-year-old female developed a tumor mass. under the bulbar conjunctiva in the right eye and underwent surgery. Histological examina-tion of the tumor showed it to be malignant lymphoma (Type 1 after Reese) with germinal centers.

The remnant tumor tissue was located in the nasal upper corner of the right orbit and ex-tended posteriorly along the course of the frontal nerve. Histopathological picture of the extir-pated tumor mass from the orbit obtained at the second operation was that of inflammatory pseudotumor corresponding to Type 3 after Birsch Hirschfeld.
