A rare case of lymphatic leucaemia which showed unilateral orbital tumor as the initial sign was reported.
The patient was a 67 years old female. Excision of a small orbital tumor, similar to a round cell sarcoma of the right lower palpebra, was performed one month after the ap-pearance of exophthalmus.
Histological examination of this tumor, splenic tumor and hematological examination revealed that it was due to chronic lymphatic leucaemia.
Nitrogen-mustard was injected, but orbital tumor recurred 2 months after the excision. General symptoms of leucaemia became intense and the patient died 40 days later.
