I．緒言

　診断技術の進歩に伴つてその病態が究明され，かつ，有効な薬剤の出現によつて恩恵を蒙むるにいたつた多くの疾患がある反面，いまだに病因不明のまま，対症療法のみで過ごされている疾患がある。そのなかでも，近来増加の傾向を示しつつあるいわゆる中心性網脈絡膜炎は，その原因，原発病巣などについて，識者間でもなお意見の一致をみていない，いわば眼科領域での盲点ともいうべき疾患の一つである。

　その主なる理由は，剖検例に乏しい上に，生井氏の報告例ではpreretinalに，上岡氏の例ではsubretinalに滲出液を認めた以外に，病理組織的所見にいくつかの相異点があることによつている。

Two cases of central serous retinochoroiditis were studied by means of fluorescein fundus angiography on the 4th and 7th day respectively after onset of subjective symptoms. Following findings were observed:

1. Active and unidirectionally oriented leak-age of the dye occurred from a spot or spots in the parafoveal area. The leakage originated apparently from the retinal vessels in both cases and extended into the serous fluid in the de-tached subretinal space.

2. The pathological focus, which originally looked innocent and was unforeseeable through ophthalmoscopy, developed into yellowish-white patch weeks later.
