I．緒言

　網膜静脈血栓症はわれわれ眼科医が日常しばしば遭遇する疾患であり，決して稀な疾患ではないが，本症についての統計的報告は比較的少なく，本邦においては三輪，余，柳田，田野，海老原，大野氏らの報告があるのみである。著者は過去5年間の自験例について統計的考察を行なつたのでここに追加報告する。

Aretrograde analysis was conducted concerni-ing the 105 patients with retinal vein throm-bosis detected at the Red-Cross Hospital of Shizuoka during 5 years from June 1961 th-rough May 1966.

1. The frequency of retinal vein thrombosis among the total ambulant cases (23, 208) amo-unted to 0.45%. In 27.7% of 379 cases with "fundus haemorrhage" during the study period the causative factor was identified as due to retinal vein thrombosis.

2. Hypertension was present as present as predisposing factor in 103 cases, while diabetes was the probable etiological factor in 2 cases. In only one case the etiology remained uniden-tified.
